Abstract

The uptake and transport of the tracer protein horse-radish peroxidase was studied in the developing choroid plexus of the rat. In all age groups the tracer was identified in the vascular compartment and in intercellular spaces but none was present within choroidal epithelial cells prior to the 4th to 5th day post partum.
