Abstract

This chapter presents a novel type of noise that has recently garnered attention from researchers as an additional term in the Navier-Stokes equations. Specifically, we concentrate on the impact of transport noise on a passive scalar and prove that it can result in eddy dissipation. The final section of the chapter delves into the effects of transport noise on passive vector fields, an area that is still rife with unresolved questions.
