Abstract

Background: Transportation barriers are a potentially modifiable and often overlooked barrier to cancer care. While patients with hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) cancers require reliable transportation for various aspects of their healthcare, the burden of transport-delayed care among this patient population is understudied. We examined the prevalence and predictors of transportation barriers to healthcare in a nationally representative sample of HPB cancer patients.
