Abstract
The applicability of the Chapman-Enskog theory to the transport coefficients of gas mixtures containing atomic and molecular hydrogen is examined by comparing experimental results on viscosity and diffusion in terms of a specific interaction potential curve. By fitting the data to a modified Buckingham potential, the mixture viscosities calculated from the diffusion coefficients exhibit good agreement with available experimental data over a range of temperatures.
