Abstract

An 80-year-old female patient with advanced pelvic organ prolapse underwent vaginal hysterectomy with unilateral sacrospinous fixation and anterior/posterior correction through repair of the paravaginal defect and perineorrhaphy. Within less than a year after the first procedure, the patient presented with stage 4 uterovaginal prolapse, and a Le Fort colpocleisis with perineorrhaphy was performed.
