Abstract
In article number 1910080, Feng Lu, Malcolm Xing, and co-workers report a solid-liquid phase transition from egg white hydrogel; the resulting transparent liquid can be employed as an electric conductor for wearable electronics, and is hysteresis-free and velocity-insulating. The liquid nature also inspires a gesture-controlled touchless user interface. Moreover, the utilization of this ionic liquid conductor in triboelectric nanogenerators may boost the material library for future clean energy.
