Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the problem of transmit design for a Dual-Function Radar-Communication (DFRC) system with one-bit DACs. The problem is formulated by minimizing the symbol mean-square error, while ensuring the target localization performance for radar. In order to tackle the nonconvex discrete problem, a new approach based on the alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) algorithm is presented, and the closed-form solution of each primal variable in the ADMM framework is provided. Numerical simulations are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed schemes.
