Abstract
Two types of transmission resonance phenomena which are observed in a narrow rectangular slot structure in thick conducting screen is dealt with along with experimental verification. Some discussions are also given in connection with the transmission resonance phenomena occurring in the cylindrical hole structure in the real metal, which was once called the extraordinary optical transmission (EOT) phenomena.
