Abstract
The operation and control of electric power system highly depends on knowledge of current-voltage conditions. Therefore, dynamic mathematical model of transmission power system was developed in order to theoretically research the dynamic conditions of the transmission power system during normal and abnormal operating conditions. To build the mathematical model of the transmission power system, synchronized phasor measurements form the Phasor Measurement Units were used and a dynamic picture of the conditions in the power system was created according to typical operating events. Additional validation of the mathematical model was made by using MatLab calculations. Furthermore, relevant events were used for fine tune-up of the dynamic mathematical model of the transmission power system. Example of proposed dynamic modeling was performed on Croatian power transmission system.
