Abstract

This chapter deals with the Translatio Studiorum instruments and the philosophical work in medieval scholasticism time. Latin translations of Greek, Hebrew or Arabic works were not the only indispensable intermediaries for studiorum translatio during the medieval period and beyond, when the Latin translations of Aristotle's works began to arrive in the Latin world from the 12th century, carrying designs original and very attractive, and offering different theories in good number of areas, new horizons opened intellectuals.
