Abstract
Ao longo do ensaio, efetuamos uma leitura da obra da artista cubana Ana Mendieta a partir dos aportes do movimento modernidade/colonialidade e do pensamento da diferenca para propor um olhar transdisciplinar as tematicas da violencia de genero e das concepcoes naturalizantes de genero. A pesquisa em Psicologia encontra nas performances de Ana Mendieta um intercessor para a producao de saber sobre a arte feminista de mulheres nao brancas, exiladas, asiladas. Discutimos duas performances de Ana Mendieta como resistencias as colonialidades de genero, raca e etnia. Nao e toda Arte Contemporânea que faz um processo de ruptura com praticas colonialistas, pois o trabalho cotidiano de criacao na arte se efetua numa lida constante com as capturas por praticas colonialistas-capitalistas. A arte de Mendieta permite pensar colonialidades presentes na Psicologia. As potencialidades da transdisciplinariedade entre Psicologia Social e arte Contemporânea evidenciam um processo de contaminacao mutua que questiona saberes e praticas.
