Des phases modulees apparaissant dans des cristaux liquides smectiques inclines sont discutees dans la theorie du champ moyen dans des couches minces et en volume. En admettant differents comportements possibles des energies des defauts, on trouve soit un etat «denude» avec des parois de defauts paralleles, soit un reseau de cellules unitaires hexagonales contenant des disinclinaisons limitees par des parois de defauts qui se coupent dans les couches minces
