Abstract

AbstractThe role of the pharmacist is evolving with pharmacists’ taking more direct responsibility for patient outcomes. As a result, pharmacy education must be designed to ensure graduates are competent and prepared to function within a complex healthcare system. Transitioning to a competency‐driven curriculum, can ultimately place the focus of the learner and faculty on outcomes specific to the skills and abilities needed for graduates to provide desired levels of care.
