Abstract
Using the116Cd(7Li,p2n)reaction, we have located a 6.4 us 10+isomer in120Sn and cha racterized its decay.The B(E2;10+→8+)values between vh112/nstates in the Sn isotopes are found to decrease sharply from N=66 to N=70, but not as drastically as in the corresponding N=82 isotones with Z=66– 70.
