Abstract
Transition simulation of plane, named as T3A/T3B, and NLR7301 multi-element airfoil were presented in this article as verification case for the γ-Re θ t transition model proposed by Menter & Langtry. Furthermore, the transition past high-lift wing with leading edge and trailing edge flaps was investigated using fully turbulence model and transition model. Results indicated that transition had an important affect on the aerodynamic characteristics of high-lift wing. The simulation could provide suggestion for disign of high-lift wing, especially the selection of the gap between main wing and flap and the deflection angle of second flap.
