Abstract

The method of “periodically modulated driving force” with temperature modulated differential scanning calorimetry has been applied to the transition kinetics in Ti xNi 100−x, x ≃ 50 at.%. The alloy presents two different types of solid–solid phase transitions. The details of the transition kinetics especially of the Δ T dependence of transition rate has been examined by the present analysis.
