Abstract

In separating multicomponent isotopic mixtures, the attainment of above-limiting concentrations of the intermediate components requires the construction of complex cascade schemes in which the laws of nonsteady transfer have been practically uninvestigated. The present work outlines the results of investigations showing the features of nonsteady concentrations variation in one such cascade: the double cascade. Some recommendations are also given on the organization of effective separation conditions in the transient period.
