Abstract

Gear stress is an important mechanical property that affects the failure of blower planetary gear train. Considering the influence of meshing clearance, meshing stiffness, friction and contact accuracy, the torsional dynamic simulation model of blower planetary gear system is established by aerodynamic analysis of blower external load, dynamic simulation model analysis of planetary gear system and transient dynamic gear stress analysis of Workbench. Firstly, the input torque and output angular displacement are calculated according to the aerodynamic equation under external load. Secondly, the contact accuracy of the simulation model is ensured by the Pure Penalty contact algorithm. According to the input torque and output angular displacement, the maximum contact stress and bending stress between the gears are calculated by Workbench transient dynamic analysis. Finally, the failure forms of gear is revealed by comparing the contact fatigue limit and bending fatigue limit with the contact stress and bending stress. It has certain guiding significance for blower gear design.
