Abstract

We present a study of domain growth in the three-dimensional Ising model with locally conserved magnetization. For the first time in a dynamical Ising model, the theoretically expected growth exponent n = 1/3 is confirmed; we observe it over a wide range of temperatures. For low temperatures, the transient phenomena are accurately described by a mean-field model. The algorithm used for this study allows different types of transport processes to be controlled, and can be applied to many other problems.
