Abstract

To solve an urgent scientific problem and apply the multipole theory, the method for calculating transient electromagnetic processes in three-phase cable power lines was improved, taking into account the induced EMF of mutual induction. On the example of a single-phase short circuit in a three-phase high-voltage cable line, a technique has been implemented that provides the determination of the features of the flow of transient processes in three-phase cable lines with the specification of the quantitative characteristics of these processes. The aim of the work is to develop methods for analyzing transient processes in a single-phase short circuit in three-phase circuits with distributed parameters and phase-to-phase connections based on the representation of such electrical circuits by multiport network. The performed studies have shown that when compiling physical models and when modeling with the help of special computer programs for calculating transient processes, it is advisable to use chain equivalent circuits of a circuit with distributed parameters.
