Abstract

Ur ina ry reflux into the vasa deferent ia and seminal vesicles can take place wi th obstructive lesions of the u re th ra in infants. I n such cases epididymit is may occur, which should aler t the physician to the possible existence of such a lesion. In these cases complete urologic evalua t ion with excretory urography, cystoure thrography, and endoscopy should be carr ied out as indicated. TWO cases are presented of epididymitis , which, when dra ined, resulted in t empora ry ure throvasocutaneous fistulas. Review of the l i te ra ture has revealed only one previous case repor t of this compl icat ion in infants. 8
