Abstract

We present the new Greek Certificate of Knowledge Competence for Naturalization (CKCN) exams procedure in effect from April 1st in Naturalization applications. Our initial study showed that IFML can be used for creating usable web or cross platform mobile applications overcoming the strict time-limits set by government legislation. We created a model for the application procedure stage that through IFMLEdit.org online tool was transformed to its equivalent mobile application with encouraging results. As this is still a work in progress we will further investigate the potentials of IFML by creating more advanced models of the exams procedure, using both IFMLEdit.org and WebRatio tools. These will include the login and authentication procedure as well as the checks during the on-line application. A comparison will also be made with the actual web application created by the General Secretariat for Citizenship and evaluate how the model is perceived by users and validate its usefulness.
