Abstract
In recent years, Sign Language Translation has gained significant attention which aims to reduce the communication barrier between deaf and hearing communities. In this paper, we briefly outline Sign Language recognition and Sign Language Translation and provide a detailed analysis of the Transformer model. In this survey paper, we examine the core issues in Sign Language Translation and put forth potential directions for its development. Keywords: Sign Language translation, Transformers
