Abstract
An article based on a paper with the full title ‘The dynamicbehaviour of a transformer winding under axial short-circuitforces’, which is published this month in the Proceedings. Thepaper will be read at a meeting of the Power Division onthe 3rd April 1963 at Savoy Place. A companion paper, ‘A mathematical treatment of thedynamic behaviour of a power-transformer winding under axialshort-circuit forces’, by G.B. Watts, is also published this month{see p. 132).
