Abstract

Virtual Reality technology is new technology developed in recent years. Transformer overhaul of virtual reality simulation system is an important area of technology. In this paper, based on virtual reality simulation system for transformer overhaul and development process, this system development and design concept can also be applied to the circuit breaker, isolator and other electrical equipment. Key words—Transformer overhaul; Simulation system; Virtual Reality technology I. INTRODUCTION The transformer is the core equipment of the transformer substation. Its installment and the overhaul quality have the decisive function to the transformer security economy. Transformer once put into operation, the overhaul personnel will understand its internal structure and the spare part space position relation, through the examination design paper, the correlation data or the equipment overhaul. Therefore, the electrical industries bureau to manage the industry's personnel's training and inspection are based on the workshop practice and the theory test primarily. This way is very difficult in the training content and the training depth to meet the requirement of the practical work. Transformer maintenance simulation system for computer graphics software development platform is developed by using virtual reality and simulation technology, combined with Visual c++ for development tools design and development. This simulation system presses the standardized operation flow chart pattern to carry on the design completely, and carries out the scene standardization job sheet. Overhaul personnel managing the simulation can manipulate tasks in the danger point, process quality requirements and control measures to fully understand and grasp. Transformer overhaul simulation system uses 3D animation on the oil tank, insulation, lead wire, iron core, winding with simulation. Training of personnel in the simulation system hangs out transformers shell or transformer hanging out, looking into the ontology transformer internal defects, according to the simulation system preset quality requirements and the dangerous point of control for processing. The system also provides training of personnel for maintenance skills of the test platform, the training of personnel of all violations of standardized operation specification is on record for simulation teacher to conduct objective and impartial evaluation. Thus, the design and development of transformer overhaul simulation system is to improve the quality of the substation maintenance training. Promoting the maintenance of technological progress and talents are of great significance.
