Abstract
Transformations of structure in structural steel 22Kh2G2S2MF under continuous cooling are studied by the methods of dilatometric analysis and optical microscopy. Athermokinetic diagram of decomposition of supercooled austenite is plotted. It is shown that steel 22Kh2G2S2MF may undergo simultaneous martensitic and bainitic transformations under continuous cooling in the range – 200°C. As a result of continuous cooling at a rate vcool = 1.5 – 0.05 K/sec the ultimate strength of steel 22Kh2G2S2MF attains 1500 – 1700 MPa, which makes it possible to classify it as a high-strength one.
