Abstract
The rotational angles α1 and α2 for transformation between two CISs are derived from the differences of each two polar coordinate series. Then, their periodicity is analysed and they are fitted by trigonometric expansions. In terms of the fitting parameters each of them is developed into a. sum of several terms with two nearly-diurnal ones involved.
