Abstract

This article builds the following transformational multicultural spiritual framework for educating youth and includes a legal lens to guide educational religious expression; a transformational lens to guide educational policy; a multicultural lens in counselor education and teacher training to guide our effort to close the achievement gap; and a spiritual practices lens to guide our impulse toward the common good. By training counselor educators to foster spiritual development in children and adolescents, we can improve resilience in relationships and in life.
