Abstract

This article starts with the definition of a small business, its several stages of development, and the main behavioral manifestations of transformational leadership style, analyzes and draws a preliminary conclusion that transformational leadership is suitable for the growth of small businesses. Then it tells the story of New Oriental from a training school for studying abroad in Beijing to gradually grow into New Oriental Education Technology Group Co.,Ltd., the leader of China’s private education and training industry, which further supports the original conclusion.
