Transformational Leadership Spur Organizational Commitment among Optimistic Followers: The Role of Psychological Capital

Based on the abovementioned literature and the relationships between transformational leadership (TL) and Organizational commitment (OC), TL and psychological capital, and psychological capital and OC, as displayed in Figure 1, we propose the following hypothesis: H4: Psychological capital mediates the relationship between TL and OC
This study addresses the following research questions: 1. What is the relationship between TL and OC? 2
The results show that a significant and positive correlation exists between TL and psychological capital (r = .59, p < .01) as well as between psychological capital and OC (r = .370, p < .01)

The goal of the study was to investigate the TL-OC relationship and to extend the understanding of psychological processes such as psychological capital as a mediational factor in defining the relationship
