Abstract

Abstract This paper is to examine how transformational leadership affects the organizational culture and how transformational leadership affects use of Management Accounting Information System (MAIS). Other than that, this paper is intend to explore transformational leadership for the all variable which is organizational culture and MAIS. In this particular study, it is used semi structured interview that has instrument of questionnaires and open-ended interview questions. Data were collected from the three level of management of Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB). Employing triangulation analysis, interview analysis, and questionnaires analysis is used to analyze the data collected. The results indicate that there is a significant relationship between transformational leadership and MAIS which influence by organizational culture. Besides, there is significant relationship in the intensity use of MAIS and organizational culture. There are some limitation of this research in which it only view only one airline industry in Malaysia. This variables may be used in practice by MAHB and other government-link companies (GLCs) as well to make changes in their organization in order to achieve the company's goals. The findings therefore will help the organization in focusing their organization performance in which the GLCs need to transform based on the ‘Execution Book’ by Khazanah Nasional Berhad.
