Abstract

The transformations and lagrangian for N = 2 Poincaré supergravity are determined in the formulation with auxiliary fields. The Weyl submultiplet is discussed within the context of the U(2) superconformal algebra, and the necessary constraints are defined. The decomposition of Poincaré supersymmetry in terms of superconformal transformation is exhibited for all submultiplets. The vector and tensor multiplet are recognized as superconformal matter multiplets. The transformations of the Weyl and vector multiplet are purely superconformal covariantizations of the linearized rules.
