Abstract

Background. The paper is devoted to the study of trends in the transformation of the transport services market under the influence of international sanctions. It is shown that the functioning of the Russian transport industry is significantly influenced by external factors - constraints that determine the reorientation of logistics chains. The experience of other countries whose economies operate under international sanctions has been studied.
 Materials and/or research methods. Materials from open Internet sources, methods of system analysis, theory of synergetics, process approach were used.
 Results. The main directions and results of the transformation of the market of transport services and, in particular, rail transportation are presented. The classification of international sanctions is considered.
 Conclusion. According to the results of the study, it was found that the trends in the development of the transport services market that contribute to overcoming barriers to its path are: the development of the PL services market; collaboration of services; the departure of “gray” players; market consolidation (consolidation of carriers); reorientation of carriers to the domestic market and the countries of the Asia-Pacific region; development the North-South corridor (China and Kazakhstan as transit countries).
