Abstract

Copper vapor lasers (CVLs) are efficient visible pulsed gas discharge lasers. CVLs radiate both green (510.6 nm) and yellow (578.2 nm) light with pulse repetition rates of between 5 kHz and 20 kHz. Average laser output power is typically several tens of watts and may reach more than 100 W. CVLs are widely used in different fields of scientific and industrial applications.
