Abstract
We propose a method of transferring an equilibrium equivalent decay product activity concentration in the large radon chamber of VNIIFTRI using measuring instruments with a mathematical model that simulates the processes of deposition and decay of natural radioactive aerosols in an aerosol filter. We develop a model that takes into account all the metrological and technical parameters that affect the measurement result. We estimate uncertainties, discuss the applicability of the model for transferring the EEDC of decay products of thoron using appropriate means of measurement.
