Abstract
A new, improved pulmonary-artery-seeking catheter is described. This catheter has a reversed secondary curve; when introduced from the right femoral vein, it passes readily from the right ventricle to the pulmonary artery with a minimum of manipulation. This catheter design has been successfully applied without complications in humans and dogs.
