Abstract

Temporary epicardial pacing wires are used to control postoperative arrhythmias in patients who have undergone open heart surgery. We present an interesting case of a foreign body granuloma resulting from a retained epicardial pacing wire. (J Am Acad Dermatol 2000;42:865-6.)
