Abstract
How does transdisciplinarity potentially support gender-sensitive teaching? How can gender-sensitive didactics be realised in transdisciplinary contexts? This paper outlines the challenges and potentials of intersecting both concepts. Considering students' diversity and discipline-specific features in constructivist teaching concepts is a way to promote a learning culture that is open, role-flexible and free of discrimination – not only in face-to-face teaching, but also in e-learning. The technical support of transdisciplinary and gender-sensitive teaching requires a thorough analysis of the relations between gender and technology. Against this background, we illustrate applications in the context of German higher education in the field of gender studies in SET disciplines and discuss the potentials of software applications for collaborative writing and concept mapping for transdisciplinary teaching.
