Abstract

The text brings a dialogue between Auto da Compadecida , by the author Ariano Suassuna, and Auto da Barca do Inferno, by the author Gil Vicente, through the perspective of carnival literature. It presents a study on the Iberian influence in the theatrical production of the brazilian author, Ariano Suassuna, in the light of carnavalization. It proposes a reflection on the subordinate's voice through laughter and on the author's place in cultural production in Latin America.
