Abstract

There is no cure for Retinitis Pigmentosa disease today. Recently, transcorneal electrical stimulation and platelet-rich plasma therapies have begun to take place in clinical practice during the treatment process. The main goals of these promising therapies are to slow the progression of the disease, to protect and increase visual functions. The presented review includes current information about these therapies.
