Abstract

An 87-year-old man had an elective endovascular aneurysm repair in 2015 (Endurant; Medtronic, Santa Rosa, Calif). A type II endoleak from the inferior mesenteric artery (IMA) was noticed in the first surveillance scan. All subsequent ultrasound scans showed the endoleak with a stable sac (A). He has severe obstructive pulmonary disease and ischemic heart disease (American Society of Anesthesiologists class 3) while leading an independent life. In 2019, although he was asymptomatic, sac size grew by 1 cm.
