Abstract

A 7-year-old child with native coarctation of the aorta was treated by transcatheter therapy using a 29-mm balloon-expandable stent. The procedure was successful and free of complications, and the patient was discharged home the same day. This stent has several features making it uniquely advantageous for treating this condition.
