Abstract

This study relates theories of transaction cost economics and cultural diversity management with regards to a strategic alliance case. First it describes different types of transaction costs that are likely to occur in relation to the underlying case and gives some practical suggestions as to how these costs can be minimized. Second, the paper analyzes the cultural diversity embedded in the alliance to draw a series of solutions on its management.
