Abstract

Abstract In 2001, Ben Singer interviewed Jordy Jones about his role in shaping a vision of “Trans Art” in the 1990s and into the new millennium. Much of that discussion focused on curatorial concerns, such as the challenges of exerting creative control in community contexts and the importance of developing an audience in conversation with contemporary creative practice. Excerpts of this historical interview are presented here.
