Abstract

Background:The main purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of sedation stories on children's psychological well-being and aggression.Materials and Methods: The research method was pretest-posttest with control group and control group. The population of this study included preschool children (6-7) Year old) were registered in preschool centers in the 5th district of Tehran in 1397. The sample size was based on 30 individuals (15 in the experimental group and 15 in the control group) who were selected by simple random sampling method Data collection was a questionnaire of Rutter's behavioral disturbances (teacher's form), psychological well-being of the reef and storytelling method, whose validity was used.Results: The results showed that the effect of calming stories on psychological well-being and aggression of children ranged from 6 to 7, 0.844, on the psychological well-being of children between 6 and 7 years old was 0.317 and on the aggression of children ages 6 to 7, 0.45.Conclusion: Storytelling as a non-drug method is a good way to reduce aggression and increase mental health. Therefore, it is recommended that preschool teachers use this method to improve children with aggression and mental health problems.
