Abstract

The training services market in Poland is characterized by high sensitivity to all kinds of changes (especially the negative ones) occurring in the economy. The outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic proved to be a real challenge for stakeholders in this sector (including the accompanying services market). The most important predictors of the collapse in the training and expert services market turned out to be the epidemic restrictions, a sharp economic downturn and the condition of the principals’ companies, as well as the peculiarities of the sector, which is predominantly based on sole proprietorships. The purpose of the article is to analyze the above-mentioned factors and their impact on the situation of participants in the business training sector. The analysis is based on existing data, publications, reports and available statistics.
