Abstract

A light-hearted account concerning aspects of selftraining of project managers in the UK is presented. Little formal training in project management goes on for the majority of persons involved in managing a project, so the emphasis here is on self-help, taking advantage of free training and selective learning from fellow students. Suggestions for overcoming lack of experience are given.
