Abstract

Abstract. The first step that Muslims must take before shrouding, reciting, and burying the dead is to bathe it. So, cleaning the corpse is a need. There is just one citizen in Mudal Hamlet, Cangkringan District, who is able to handle Muslim corpses in accordance with Islamic beliefs. Hamlet’s head in the area thinks this is a problem. The objective of this community service is provided so that Mudal Hamlet’s population, in particular, the young people in the mosque’s management, will be part of a generation that is familiar with the handling of corpses. Counseling and practice are the methods employed in this service. With this commitment, it is anticipated that knowledge of techniques for cleaning and caring for the corpse would grow among locals and mosque authorities.
