Abstract
Abstract In this article, we summarize a presentation on the training of AAC communication partners at the SIG 12 Virtual Conference (2012). We describe the characteristics of effective communication partners. We also will discuss adult learning principles and learning mode preference as they relate to training of AAC communication partners.
