Abstract

The law on strengthening the contact of the schools with life and on the further development of the public education system in the USSR stresses the role of the communist education of the workers, which today has acquired central importance in the activities of the state and public organizations. Atheistic training is an indispensable and integral part of this education in the advancement of which the institutions of higher education must join prominently. These institutions possess a veritably inexhaustible arsenal of scientific and educational resources with which successfully to train militant atheists who will actively combat religious prejudices.
